What you'll do
Primary HR support for (c)120 operations employees at the Sutton facilityBy partnering with the HRM you will influence the strategic direction of the plant and support the execution of long term plans for the facility in addition to day to day point of contactYou will report to the HRM on site to ensure a common approach to standard HR processesYou will support the execution of HR functions such as employee relations, communications, benefits, training and development and support the achievement of facility goals, targets and objectives for the operational employees on siteYou will be responsible for the administration of all HR transactions including accurate reporting of key Metrics and payrollManging monthly payrollManage the recruitment process for both permanent and temporary positions from sourcing to onboardingProactively gather insights (internally and externally) on employment trends/benchmarking to influence action planning and policies Support Managers with the completion of first level disciplinary, grievances, attendance management reviews and other employee relations mattersCoordinate employee engagement initiatives including but not limited to; employee surveys, wellness activities, charity involvement and inclusion and diversity eventsAssist with updating and ensuring policies are compliant with legislation and Eaton philosophy and handle queries along with other HR team membersManage key Human Resources administrative tasks, including communications, reward & recognition tracking, employee benefits, guidebooks and flexible working requestsManage and action letters and confirmation including medical approval, referencing, data approval and all subsequent needed information from site Maintain accurate records of employee data compliant both with UK legislation and Eaton best practice including support of the time and attendance process Collect and analyse accurate and timely data for established and relevant HR metricsDesign and delivery of training as requiredCoordinating training and reporting on Eaton UniversitySupporting Employee Engagement ForumDemonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by supporting related initiatives by establishing, maintaining and implementing standard work and other toolsQualifications: Level 3 or 5 CIPDSkills: Previous experience in a HR function ideally in a manufacturing environment Understanding of complex employee relations cases and appropriate resolutionsWorking knowledge of UK employment law and resource management Preferably some exposure to time and attendance systems Competent with Microsoft Office Packages (for example Excel, Word, Outlook)Demonstrated organizational & prioritization skills Ability to build trust & maintain confidentiality is critical Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Able to manage through ambiguity in a busy environmentWhat we offer: Competitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possibleWe make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people's lives and the environment through power management technologiesWe make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
