Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional ready to take ownership of a site and make a real impact? This is a great opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
You'll be the key person leading Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and Sustainability across the site, driving standards, improving systems, and engaging teams at every level.
What you'll be doing
Lead all site HSE and sustainability activity, ensuring full legal compliance. Investigate incidents, update SOPs, and manage audit action plans. Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
Oversee environmental performance, waste, emissions, water usage, and permits. Develop site-level sustainability projects that cut energy use and carbon footprint. Work closely with operations and the factory leadership team on continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum). Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG. Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation. Confident, proactive communicator who enjoys being out on the shop floor.
