Job Description Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading high voltage specialist with a commitment to professional development and sustainability, to recruit a HV jointer in Scotland, around the Glasgow area. The HV jointer role comes with a salary of up to £43,700 basic doe, plus up a 20% performance bonus, a yearly profit share (~£8,000), guaranteed overtime and much more.

Carry out terminations and jointing at 33kVTest and fault find where necessaryExcavate, shore, and prepare joint baysAdhere to strict health and safety site regulationsBe prepared to stay away most weeks Monday-FridayProfessional qualificationsNo formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience:3+ years experience jointing at 33kV or aboveStrong experience carrying out terminations and jointingExperience with underground/substation jointing is idealExperience working in new-build substation environments is idealPersonal skillsThe HV jointer role would suit someone who has: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in complex, fast-changing environmentsNo issue working in windy/rainy conditions when the time comesCollaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck inAdaptable and able to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environmentsSalary and benefits of the HV jointer role£42,000 - £43,700 basic DOE (75-85k OTE)Up to 20% performance bonus (~£8,000)Yearly profit share (~£8,000)Door to door travel paidGuaranteed overtime if desiredCompany vehicle & fuel card providedAccommodation and meal allowance paid for stayawaysEnhanced pensionContinuing Learning and Development Opportunities#LI-TS1INDPOWAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
