Overview

As a Hydrogeologist in Stantecs UK water team, you will contribute to a variety of hydrogeological and environmental projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. You will grow toward chartered status with strong support from the firm, while developing your technical breadth across fieldwork, data analysis, and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of hydrogeological work across project types
• Communicate findings clearly to clients
• Develop the next generation of hydrogeologists and share knowledge with juniors
• Conduct field-based monitoring and sampling
• Oversee drilling supervision
• Design and analyze pumping tests
• Perform data analytics and numerical groundwater modelling
• Carry out geochemical and hydrochemical analysis

Key requirements

• Science-based undergraduate degree and/or MSc in Hydrogeology
• Post-graduate experience supporting hydrogeology projects
• Ability to navigate regulatory, business, and policy environments
• Clear and confident client communication
• Professionalism, time management, and flexibility
