IDAM & PAM Engineer

Overview

In this role you will apply Identity and Access Management (IDAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) expertise to help clients design, implement and secure modern access solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectures, validate designs, and guide deployments across development, test, and production environments.

The role centers on shaping client transformation journeys through secure, standards-based IDAM outcomes. You join a global security practice known for technical excellence and impact, with opportunities to grow in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IDAM requirements and evaluate client solutions within agreed timelines
• Define both high-level and low-level IDAM and PAM designs
• Support integration, configuration, and testing of IDAM solutions and platforms
• Review and enable client IDAM outcomes using industry frameworks and best practices
• Identify client needs, risk factors, and security requirements for IDAM/PAM adoption
• Plan implementation efforts and coordinate with other teams on execution
• Set up test, development, and production IDAM/PAM environments
• Oversee discovery, audits, documentation, validation, and authorization activities
• Collaborate with GRC consultants, solution architects to secure products/services

Key requirements

• Experience with at least one development environment/language (e.g., Java/J2EE, Python, Java, C/C++, .NET, C#, or PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Windows OS and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience in design, solution build, deployment and ongoing management of processes
• Experience with System Integration Testing, UAT, and Production rollout
• Applied knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust concepts
• Willingness to learn new security skills and pursue further security qualifications
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver with enthusiasm
• Strong collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Relevant professional Security/Risk/Compliance or Security Technology certifications
• Eligibility for UK Gov vetting (SC) for some clients
