Operating across numerous jurisdictions and delivering complex, high-profile projects worldwide, the business has a well-established international presence and an ambitious growth strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Group Tax function in a visible role with responsibility for UK and European indirect tax matters.

The position offers broad exposure across compliance, advisory, governance and business partnering within a large multinational environment. Your new roleAs Indirect Tax Manager, you will take ownership of UK VAT compliance whilst supporting indirect tax activities across several European jurisdictions.

You will act as the key VAT specialist for the business, providing robust technical advice and ensuring compliance obligations are met accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include

Ownership of end-to-end UK VAT compliance processesReview and oversight of UK VAT returns and associated submissionsReview and support of VAT compliance across Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland and other European jurisdictionsAdvising on major projects, cross-border transactions and joint operationsActing as the key contact for HMRC and managing VAT-related enquiriesSupporting SAO reporting requirements relating to VATWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced indirect tax professional with strong technical VAT expertise gained within either industry, practice or a combination of both.
