This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with industrial experience who enjoys a varied field-based role. You'll be working with sophisticated process instrumentation and electrical systems, supporting a wide range of customers across multiple industries throughout the UK.

Candidates located within an hour of Macclesfield (SK11) would be advantageous due to the geographical spread of customer sites; however, this is a fully field-based role involving regular travel. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions Ensure all work is carried out in line with current electrical regulations and safety standards Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities Work closely with engineers, technicians and other tradespeople to deliver projects successfully Complete accurate service reports and maintain records of work completed Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships Support project installations and site-based electrical works as required Essential Requirements Qualified Electrician with several years' post-qualification industrial experience 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience installing, maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Full UK Driving Licence Excellent communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements Desirable Qualifications & Experience City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Previous field service or customer-facing experience CCNSG Safety Passport Electrical controls knowledge Profibus experience UKAS knowledge Experience working within process, manufacturing or industrial environments Personal Attributes Self-motivated and reliable Professional and customer-focused Strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Apply Now If you have experience as an Industrial Electrician and are looking for a varied field-based role with excellent earning potential, benefits and career progression opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
