What you’ll be doingYou’ll work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to drive excellence in mechanical manufacturing and product delivery:Build trusted partnerships with suppliers to deliver high-quality, reliable componentsCollaborate to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costsProvide technical input during supplier selection, audits, and readiness reviewsLead supplier audits, identifying risks and opportunities for improvementSupport First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate new production processesAnalyse process data to improve quality, yield, and performanceDrive APQP and PPAP activities to ensure smooth new product introductionPartner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure requirements are clearly definedSupport supplier manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement initiatives What you’ll bringWe’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset:Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forging, etc.)Background working with suppliers in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, and PPAPStrong communication skills and a relationship-focused approachA proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvementAbility to travel to supplier sitesYour backgroundDegree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Design or similar, or equivalent industry experienceWhy Thales?
