Insurance Account Handler

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Belfast city centre to recruit a new full time and permanent experienced Insurance Account Handler As an Insurance Account Manager in the Belfast office, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients.

The role will involve Account management, client retention and portfolio growth, deliver expert insurance advice and build trusted, long-term relationships. You will be fully supported in this location by an established local team.

Key Responsibilities Risk Placement: Placing all variations of complex commercial risks securely into the insurance market. Strategic Advisory: Providing prompt, expert insurance advice tailored specifically to client needs.

Market Liaison: Partnering and negotiating effectively with insurer partners. Portfolio Servicing: Maintaining top-tier customer service levels by processing Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs) and managing day-to-day customer queries.

File Management: Executing robust file and case management to ensure accurate, timely, and fully completed client files. Compliance & Privacy: Strictly maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to company policies and regulatory framework Requirements Proven InsuranceExperience: Extensive account handling background specifically within the corporate or commercial insurance sector.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience resolving technical insurance issues across various risk sizes and complexities. Communication

Skills

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills across all corporate and client levels.
