Interim Corporate Counsel (2-5 PQE) MLA is partnering with a high-growth, international e-commerce and consumer brands business that is looking to hire an Interim Corporate Counsel to support its legal team for a 9 to 12 month contract.
This is a broad commercial role with a strong focus on M&A transactions, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead legal workstreams on acquisitions from LOI through to completion.
Draft, review and negotiate M&A and commercial agreements. Support corporate finance matters, including debt and equity transactions. Advise on a range of in-house legal issues, including commercial contracts, employment, IP and data privacy.
Manage external counsel and help improve legal processes, templates and compliance frameworks. Partner with stakeholders across the business on strategic and operational matters. About You Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction).
2 – 5 PQE with experience leading or supporting M&A transactions. Strong drafting and negotiation skills across corporate and commercial matters. Experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. German language skills would be advantageous but are not essential. If this role is of interest – apply for additional information.
