Internal Sales Executive required! Our client is a well-established mechanical engineering company supplying technical products and solutions to a diverse customer base. On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Technical Sales Executive.
The successful candidate will have experience in a technical engineering and/or mechanical environment and will be comfortable working with technical information to support customers in finding the right solution. Package:Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to FridaySalary of £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)20 days holiday + bank holidayCompany pension schemeOn-site parkingInternal Sales Executive - Responsibilities:Handle incoming sales enquiries in a timely and professional mannerManage and develop relationships with existing accountsUnderstand customer requirements through effective questioning and communicationRecommend suitable technical/mechanical solutions based on client needsPrepare and issue accurate quotationsFollow up quotations to progress opportunities through the sales pipelineMaintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and ordersLiaise with internal engineering/production teams where requiredSupport overall sales growth through proactive account managementInternal Sales Executive - Requirements:Experience in a technical, mechanical, or engineering-based environmentKnowledge of industrial equipment, pumps, or mechanical systems is highly advantageousPrevious experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing technical supportExperience producing quotations or working with CRM/sales systemsStrong communication skills with the ability to understand customer needsConfident in handling enquiries and following up sales opportunitiesStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Streamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process your data and contact you in relation to this application
