Internal Sales Executive – Distribution Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands Salary: From £30,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Industry: Distribution / Wholesale The Opportunity An established distribution company is looking to recruit two experienced Internal Sales Executives to join its busy sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for commercially driven individuals who enjoy building customer relationships, developing existing accounts and generating additional sales. There are two positions available, one focusing on end-user customers and the other on distributor and trade accounts.

These are proactive sales roles, combining account management, customer service, order processing and business development. Key Responsibilities

• Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and the general sales inbox.
• Handling customer enquiries and processing sales orders.
• Preparing quotations and following up outstanding enquiries.
• Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Proactively contacting allocated lower-spending accounts to increase sales.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products.
• Building relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Making outbound sales calls to generate additional business.
• Negotiating pricing and securing orders.
• Liaising with internal departments regarding orders and deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales records.
• Providing excellent customer service in a busy sales environment. About You
• Previous experience in internal sales, account management or business development.
• Experience within distribution, wholesale, trade sales or a similar B2B environment.
• Confident handling customer enquiries and making outbound sales calls.
• Strong customer relationship and account development skills.
• Experience preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent telephone and email communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills and experience using sales or CRM systems.
