The Investment Banking Senior Analyst role is a junior level position responsible for supporting the team in providing clients with strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions, as well as assisting clients in raising capital.

Responsibilities

Work with senior bankers in particular on client transactions, projects or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking teamPrepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live dealsResponsible for organizing and analysing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plansConduct economic/financial research, and research overall industry and market trendsEvaluate company financial performanceBuild complex financial models for valuation / M&A analysis purposeQualifications: Prior experience in investment banking, private equity or related fieldsStrong interest to work with technology companiesExperience in evaluating corporate transactions and structuresExperience evaluating and creating financial analyses, including strong financial modelling skills and valuation analysisStrong presentation skillsDemonstrated problem solving and organisational skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsExperience assisting with client developmentAbility to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyse industry trends)Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlinesEducation: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience at a top tier academic institutionThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
