**IT Sourcing Manager** (Contract) Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension) Location: Leeds/Bristol/Halifax/Edinburgh/Hybrid (2 days per week in either site) Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or Salary is available for suitable candidates Role Profile Our client, a prominent organisation in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to oversee and enhance their procurement processes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage a portfolio of contracts and projects while contributing to the organisation's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering required outcomes for a portfolio of contracts within the IT domain.
This includes negotiating service level agreements and planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to major contracts. Key Accountabilities: Analysing key themes using data from diverse sources to identify potential impacts on the organisation.
Delivering outcomes through effective management of team members and adherence to established systems. Exploring issues and needs to ascertain potential causes, related issues, and barriers that may affect procurement processes.
Reporting on portfolio performance to senior colleagues, ensuring transparency and accountability. Improving and working within established procurement procedures to achieve prescribed outcomes. Providing expert advice on designing new processes and systems to uphold professional standards and desired outcomes.
Utilising risk management systems to mitigate undue risks to the organisation. Analysing specified problems and issues to determine optimal technical and professional solutions. Collaborating with small clients to ensure their needs are adequately met while supporting senior colleagues in managing more significant client relationships.
