IT Support Analyst

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Haddington, is currently looking to recruit an IT Analyst for an initial 8 week contract on a rate of £200/day (Inside IR35). This role will be based onsite in Haddington.
Responsibilities
Work on BAU (Business As Usual) incidents and requests within our ticketing system to clear off current backlog. Work hand in hand with Senior IT Analyst (EUP) and IT Technician (EUP) to carry out hardware refresh duties.
Provide Level 1 and 2 support for calls relating to the Corporate End User Estate. Assist with the work of IT colleagues running the IT Service Desk. Monitor systems for critical and important patch notices, and escalate to senior members of EUP.
Complete tasks passed on from senior members of EUP to aid in planned works. Update Microsoft Endpoint Manager & Intune managed applications if required. Aid in fit-out of End User Equipment during office refurbishment. Essential
Skills
Relevant HNC and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience. Experience of providing IT Support directly to customers. Experience of using appropriate tools to provide IT support. Experience of using Config Manager for building endpoints Desirable
Skills
