Role : Java Developer (Blockchain) Type : Contract Location : London, UK (Hybrid) Roles and Responsibilities Backend Engineering Design and develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java. Build APIs and microservices supporting digital asset products.
Develop scalable and resilient systems aligned with banking standards. Ensure high availability, security, performance, and maintainability. Blockchain Development Implement blockchain-related business logic and workflows.
Develop components supporting: Smart contract interactions Minting and burning processes Asset transfer flows Wallet management capabilities Integrate external blockchain networks into client digital asset ecosystem. Platform Integration Build integrations with digital asset custody and wallet providers.
Develop connectivity with blockchain infrastructure and third-party services. Collaborate on SaaS blockchain platform implementation initiatives. Security & Reliability Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices.
Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions. Contribute to operational readiness and production support activities. Support compliance, audit, and security requirements. Collaboration Work within cross-functional agile teams.
Partner with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Security Specialists, Product Owners, and Blockchain Operations professionals. Support technical mentoring and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
