What you’ll be doing

Designing and building scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot)Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features end-to-end Improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability Writing clean, testable code and contributing to best practices across the team Supporting deployments and monitoring production systems Taking ownership of features—from idea through to release

Tech you’ll work with

Java (core + modern versions) Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem RESTful APIs & microservices architecture Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) Databases (SQL / NoSQL)

Experience building applications in Java in a commercial environment Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles Experience with APIs, microservices, and scalable systems Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills A mindset of ownership and continuous improvement
