Junior CS&A Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support feasibility studies for roof refurbishment within a regulated nuclear context, working with cross-disciplinary teams to explore options and align with the draft requirements. You will operate with a degree of autonomy on engineering activities while seeking guidance to advance project goals. The position offers hands-on design exposure and a clear path to developing QMS familiarity. This is a growth-focused opportunity in a fast‑growing technical services unit.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of feasibility study to develop roof refurbishment options aligned with the Outline Requirements Specification
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary personnel to deliver large, complex work packages
• Carry out independent engineering activities while seeking guidance to augment understanding
• Contribute to development of cost-effective solutions meeting customer requirements
• Engage with team to ensure alignment with safety and regulatory expectations

Key requirements

• Undergraduate experience, preferably in the nuclear industry
• Evidence of design capability prior to graduation
• Able to follow instructions and work within defined boundaries
• Good numeracy and literacy levels
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet defined targets
• Clear communication within engineering teams
• Willingness to develop knowledge of company QMS and safety legislation under supervision
