This role sits in an experienced London team that is currently designing and deploying new network topology to support a world class trading environment. The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.

requirements

• Experience deploying and maintaining mission critical networks
• Network automation skills
• Linux/Unix concepts
• Some scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go etc)
• Basic understanding of networking protocols such as OSPF and BGP
• Clear and effective communicator

Understanding of computer science principles and passion for technology. This role would suit an junior network engineer who takes pride in their work and knowledge of the sector, you do not need experience in finance but you must understand the mission-critical nature of the industry.
