Overview In this role you will contribute to building a scalable trading architecture and cloud-native microservices for an active systematic trading hedge fund. You will collaborate closely with a high-caliber engineering team in a fast-paced, open culture that values teaching and learning.

Pay / Benefits competitive compensation bonus scheme (30% poSs) 3 days in the office per week open and relaxed culture central London location opportunity to work with cutting-edge trading tech Responsibilities Designing and developing a new trading architecture for model execution Designing, developing, testing and deploying cloud-based microservices (AWS) Supporting business units by solving problems, querying data, and building tools Working in a highly collaborative paired environment to solve complex problems Collaborating with the engineering team to improve architecture and processes Prototyping new concepts and features, exploring new technologies Pursuing automation and continuous delivery Reviewing designs and code to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity Key requirements 2:1 Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Chemistry degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University Strong A Levels Python (ideally with Java) Ideally cloud architecture or model deployment on the cloud Understanding of computing fundamentals, OOP, threading, concurrency and distributed systems TDD CI/CD collaborative mindset strong learning and teaching orientation problem solving in a paired, team-based setting Python Java (nice-to-have) AWS / cloud deployment
