Position Overview:kdb+/q developers at Squarepoint work closely with researchers and traders to design, implement, test and maintain our service-oriented kdb+ architecture.

As a kdb+/q developer, you will contribute to designing our model of reality, normalizing diverse datasets to generate it. You will also build robust, scalable infrastructure to expose data to users worldwide. You will have a high degree of responsibility, owning key parts of the infrastructure and acting as level 2+ support for critical services during live trading.

Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a STEM subjectUp to 4 years experience in a relevant role using kdb+/qExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with usAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentNice to have:Experience designing, testing, optimizing and troubleshooting data intensive applicationsExperience analyzing and organizing financial dataExperience with any of Python, C++, or RustExperience with other database management systems and related technologies such as SQL
