About Us

Are you looking to progress your career in a state-of-the-art environment? We are looking for a motivated and experienced Skilled Laminator Operator to join our growing production team in Derby.

The Role

As a Lamination Operative, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our lamination machinery to exact customer specifications. You will ensure that our finished goods-ranging from food to medical barrier films-are produced to the highest world-class quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation: Effectively set up and run lamination machinery in accordance with official procedures and strict health and safety guidelines.

Quality Control: Carry out and record routine coat weight checks in line with company quality management systems.

Efficiency: Follow precise job specifications to maintain maximum production efficiency and minimize waste.

Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and routine cleaning to keep equipment working perfectly.

Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

What We Are Looking For

Proven, hands-on experience operating lamination machinery (experience within flexible packaging, film, foil, or printing sectors is highly desirable).

A strong understanding of flexible materials, substrates, web handling, tension control, and adhesive applications.

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining elite quality standards.

Good troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve minor mechanical or production disruptions.

Solid numerical and time-management skills to follow job specification sheets accurately.
