Warehouse Assistant – HorshamLocation: Horsham, West Sussex Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive hourly pay An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join a busy distribution team in Horsham. You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the site, helping to keep stock moving smoothly from delivery through to dispatch.
Your responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries and check items for quantity and quality Accurately pick products for customer orders Pack goods securely and prepare them for despatch Use scanning equipment and warehouse systems to track stock Put away deliveries in the correct storage areas Assist with stock counts and inventory checks Move stock safely around the warehouse Help maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient working environment Follow company procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times The ideal candidate Dependable with a strong work ethic Comfortable working on your feet in a physically active role Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines Organised, with good attention to detail A team player who is happy to muck in where needed Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom environment would be an advantage, although not essential What you’ll get Competitive rate of pay Regular hours with overtime opportunities where available Full induction and ongoing support A friendly and supportive team environment The chance to develop your warehouse and logistics skills If you’re ready for a hands-on warehouse role in Horsham, apply now with an up-to-date CV and a member of the team will be in touch
