£120,000–£130,000 basic salary + benefits A leading insurance business is looking for a hands-on Lead Data Scientist to help shape and develop its data and analytics capability. You will lead commercially focused data science projects, turning complex insurance and market data into insight that supports better decision‐making.
The role combines technical delivery, senior stakeholder engagement and leadership of a growing team. Key requirements Strong data science and analytical modelling experience London Market insurance experience Advanced Python or R and SQL skills Experience working with large and complex datasets Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder‐management skills Previous team leadership or mentoring experience Experience delivering analysis that influences business decisions This is an opportunity to take a leading role within a developing data function, with significant scope to influence its direction and delivery.
