Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

In this role you guide the research direction for audio ML and lead a small team to deliver production-ready models. You shape the roadmap, explore emerging deep learning opportunities, and drive multiple research streams from audio super-resolution to speech enhancement and speech-to-text. You will work closely with product and engineering to transition research into scalable systems that impact thousands of users. This is a chance to lead innovative audio technology in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute the long-term research roadmap for audio machine learning
• Identify and evaluate emerging deep learning opportunities for future products in audio
• Lead concurrent research streams such as audio super-resolution, speech enhancement, and speech-to-text
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy research models into production-ready systems
• Present research outcomes to stakeholders across engineering, product, commercial, and leadership
• Foster a collaborative, open, and product-focused research culture

Key requirements

• MSc or PhD in relevant field
• 3+ years leading ML research or engineering teams
• Strong Python skills and expertise with PyTorch or similar framework
• Proven experience applying and optimizing AI/ML algorithms in production-oriented environments
