Are you a Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET skills and hands-on experience working with Linux and Docker? We’re looking for an engineer to join a team developing and maintaining sophisticated software applications. You’ll take ownership of software components from design through to delivery, contribute to larger systems and work alongside talented engineers in a collaborative, agile environment.
This role combines software design and development with practical experience of containerised applications and Linux environments. You’ll have the opportunity to solve technical challenges, improve existing systems and contribute to the delivery of robust, reliable software.
What you’ll be doing * Design and develop software: Take ownership of designing and building software applications and components using C# and .NET. * Work with Linux and Docker: Develop, support and troubleshoot software in Linux environments, working with Docker and containerised applications. * Solve complex problems: Investigate bugs, diagnose technical issues and improve the reliability and performance of existing customer systems. * Build quality software: Write clean, maintainable code that follows established coding standards, design patterns and engineering best practices. * Collaborate on system design: Work with other engineers to design software components, evaluate technical approaches and contribute to larger systems. * Support effective delivery: Use Azure DevOps, source control, branching strategies and pull requests to manage development and maintain code quality. * Contribute throughout the development lifecycle: Produce technical documentation, participate in agile ceremonies, review code and communicate progress to stakeholders.
What we’re looking for You’ll be a hands-on Software Engineer with strong development skills, practical Linux and Docker experience, and a methodical approach to solving technical problems.
