In this role you will shape Rover’s engineering by building customer‑facing products that improve the lives of pets and their owners. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components with ReactJs/React Native and Python tools
• Collaborate to translate loose requirements into deliverable projects
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices, testing, and code quality
• Contribute to continuous deployment and automated testing initiatives
• Participate in design and UX considerations to deliver great user experiences
• Support data‑driven decision making across products and platforms

Key requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Long‑term frontend development experience
• Strong knowledge of ReactJs or React Native
• Experience with Python or another backend language
• Solid understanding of relational databases and schema design
• Passion for automated testing, code quality, and software engineering best practices
