Learning Manager - SEND Temporary Location: West Midlands Are you an experienced SEND leader looking for your next opportunity within further education? About the Role As Learning Manager - SEND, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of provision for learners with special educational needs and disabilities at a further education provider in the West Midlands, making sure every learner gets the support they need to achieve.

You'll manage and develop a team of support staff, work closely with curriculum colleagues and act as a key point of contact for families, local authorities and external professionals.

Your responsibilities will include

Leading the day-to-day delivery of SEND and additional learning support provision. Managing, developing and supporting learning support staff. Overseeing support plans, learner reviews and EHCP processes. Liaising with parents, carers, local authorities and external agencies.

Working with curriculum teams to ensure support is appropriate and effective. Monitoring learner progress, attendance and outcomes to drive improvement. Ensuring provision meets SEND legislation, funding requirements and organisational policies. What We're Looking For

Essential

Experience leading SEND, additional learning support or inclusive learning provision, ideally within further education Strong knowledge of EHCPs, High Needs funding and SEND legislation Experience of managing or developing a team Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable (but not essential): A relevant qualification in SEND, inclusive learning or education Experience of quality assurance, self-assessment and service development If you're ready to lead inclusive provision and make a genuine difference to learners' outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
