Job Title: Legal Assistant - Commercial Property Location: Skipton Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday Are you an organised and detail driven individual with previous experience within a legal environment and an interest in Commercial Property?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded legal firm as Legal Assistant - Commercial Property, where you will provide essential administrative and legal support to Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team.
You will play a key role in ensuring client matters are managed efficiently and accurately, while providing a professional and personable service to clients and colleagues. Working within a busy and professional environment, this role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with clients and third parties, and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
You will have strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a supportive team while taking ownership of your own responsibilities. Key Responsibilities as Legal Assistant - Commercial Property: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team Manage client matters in a timely and accurate manner using the firm's case management system Prepare, organise and maintain legal files and supporting documentation Manage diaries, arrange client appointments and coordinate meetings as required Prepare client correspondence using audio typing, word processing and digital dictation Handle client and third party telephone calls, enquiries and requests in a professional and efficient manner Manage incoming emails, post, photocopying and general administrative duties Order property searches and complete the necessary client identification checks Assist with the preparation and oversight of exchanges and completions under the supervision of the Fee Earner Manage Land Registry registrations following completion and complete any necessary follow-up Prepare client bills and assist with the management of account ledgers Provide support to other Legal Assistants and the wider management team when required Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with relevant regulatory requirements and internal procedures Experience Required as a Legal Assistant - Commercial Property: Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally with exposure to Commercial Property Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable manner Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Previous experience using a legal case management system would be advantageous Ability to work independently, use initiative and take ownership of tasks Positive and collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team Professional and confident manner when dealing with clients, colleagues and third parties In Return as Legal Assistant - Commercial Property you will receive: £25,000 - £30,000 annual salary, dependent on experience Opportunity to join an established and respected legal firm Supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to develop your legal career within a Commercial Property team Varied role providing valuable exposure to a broad range of Commercial Property matters If you are an organised and motivated Legal Assistant looking for your next opportunity within Commercial Property, APPLY TODAY!
