I'm currently partnering with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm that is looking to expand its support team with three Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary hires across: Family Law Commercial Conveyancing Residential Conveyancing These positions offer the opportunity to join a supportive and professional legal team, working closely with experienced fee earners in a client-focused environment.
The Role Responsibilities will include: Drafting client care packs and legal correspondence Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents, including tracked changes and comparison documents Managing files and handling correspondence Liaising with Counsel's clerks to arrange conferences and support case progression Managing telephone enquiries from clients and third parties Preparing disclosure bundles, document collation and review Diary management, arranging meetings and appointments Audio and copy typing Supporting client billing and reporting processes Welcoming clients and preparing meeting rooms Providing general administrative and secretarial support About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant experience Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent attention to detail A confident and professional telephone manner Strong Microsoft Word and Outlook skills Experience with Excel (advantageous) Experience with legal forms software (beneficial but not essential) Experience within Family Law, Commercial Conveyancing or Residential Conveyancing would be advantageous, but candidates from other legal practice areas will also be considered.
Package £26,000 - £30,000 salary, with flexibility for the right candidate Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Supportive and collaborative working environment Long-term career prospects within legal support Please note that these opportunities are best suited to candidates looking to develop a long-term career in legal support and administration, rather than those actively seeking a training contract or route to qualification.
