Academics is proud to be working with a fantastic primary school in Wandsworth, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner to support children's learning and development within a nurturing Nursery environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, providing high-quality support to pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Role Details Start Date: September 2026 ASAP - July 2026 Location: Wandsworth, South West London Contract: Full-time, term-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm Pay: £95 per day, dependent on experienceThe Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching Assistant studies, or a related field.
Have proven experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally within a Nursery or primary school environment. Have experience supporting children with SEN, including adapting activities, using differentiated strategies, and providing personalised support.
Have a strong understanding of EYFS principles and a genuine passion for supporting children's early development. Be caring, patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing in their approach. Be confident working as part of a team and able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
