Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Tameside FULL TIME | IMMEDIATE START | LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Tameside seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant looking to develop their experience within a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4, providing classroom support and targeted interventions to help students achieve positive outcomes.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Tameside Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Type of Work: Classroom support and interventions across KS3 and KS4 Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP105 - GBP125 per day (depending on experience) Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm THE ROLE Support students across KS3 and KS4.

Work alongside teachers in the classroom. Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions. Support pupils with additional learning needs. Promote positive behaviour and engagement. Help create an inclusive learning environment.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Previous school-based experience. Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive and proactive approach. Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable). TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
