About the Role

Reed Specialist Legal Recruitment’s client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Haywards Heath, seeking a talented Property Lawyer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a passion for residential property law to work in a collaborative and socially active environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, leases, and remortgages. Build and maintain strong relationships with local estate agents and clients. Provide high-quality legal advice and maintain excellent client care standards.

Collaborate with a close-knit team of experienced property professionals. Support the firm’s expansion into commercial property work. Candidate Profile: 2–10 years PQE in residential property law preferred. Open to Solicitors, Legal Executives (CILEx), and Licensed Conveyancers (CLC).

Strong local knowledge and/or willingness to build local contacts. Comfortable working on-site with hybrid flexibility (minimum 3 days in office). Experience with Leap CMS is beneficial. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Team & Culture: Join a property team of 3 fee earners and 3 assistants, with plans for 1:1 support once settled. Office of 22 staff, including Private Client, Litigation, and Corporate/Commercial teams. Young and enthusiastic team with a strong reputation in the local legal community.
