Lift Engineer

Lift / Elevator Engineer Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas Salary: £40,000–£50,000 + Overtime + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lift / Elevator Engineer to join an established and growing lift engineering business, covering Bristol and the surrounding South West area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a long-term position with a strong pipeline of work, regular service routes and excellent earning potential. The Role You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of passenger, goods and service lifts across commercial, residential and other client sites.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults Complete reactive repairs and breakdown call-outs Carry out minor modernisation and component replacement works Maintain accurate service records and electronic job sheets Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard Participate in an out-of-hours / standby rota About You We are looking for an experienced Lift Engineer with: NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent Previous experience within lift servicing, maintenance, repair or installation Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience working across a range of lift equipment and manufacturers Full UK driving licence Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your own service route Package £40,000–£50,000 basic salary, depending on experience Overtime available Standby / call-out payments Door-to-door pay Company vehicle / van Company phone and tablet 25+ days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Ongoing training and development Long-term career progression If you're an experienced Lift Engineer based in Bristol or the surrounding area and are looking for a secure, well-paid position with a reputable employer, we'd like to hear from you.
