Job Description Paralegal - Litigation Location: Trowbridge Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a Paralegal with a focus on litigation law to join our team. the role
Assist the legal team in all stages of litigation processes from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. Research relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to help determine the specifics of a case.
Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. Prepare for trials by organising exhibits and assisting during court proceedings. Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts and mortgages.
Obtain affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court. Support lawyers during trials by managing exhibits, filing briefs, and facilitating communication with all parties involved. Schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions by coordinating with clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors. Required Skills &
Qualifications
Experience in a legal support role, ideally within litigation. Law degree Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to litigation law. Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
