Locum Consultant Radiologist Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Consultant Breast Radiologist to join an NHS Hospital in Avon on a locum basis. Start Date: ASAP Duration : Until 30/09/2026 Location : Somerset Working Pattern : Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00 The Locum Consultant Radiologist Role This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Consultant Breast Radiologist to join a busy NHS Breast Imaging Service.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality breast imaging, diagnosis, and patient care, supporting both symptomatic and screening pathways. The successful Locum Consultant Radiologist candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary breast team, contributing to imaging interpretation, assessment clinics, and MDT discussions while ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Locum Consultant Radiologist Requirements GMC-registered Doctor with a licence to practise Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology, or equivalent eligibility Substantial experience in Breast Radiology Competency in breast imaging techniques including: o Mammography o Breast Ultrasound o Breast MRI o Image-guided breast interventions Experience participating in Breast MDT meetings Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working skills Strong clinical decision-making and reporting abilities Knowledge of NHS governance, quality standards, and patient safety requirements Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment Locum Consultant Radiologist Apply For more information or to apply, please submit your cv.
