Job Description M&E Engineer Location: North Ldn/Hertsforshire/EssexSalary: £44,000Benefits: Company Van + Fuel CardHours: Monday to FridayThe Role We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer to join a well-established engineering team covering commercial sites in and around North London, Hertfordshire & Essex.

This is a mobile position offering a £44,000 salary, company van and fuel card, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern. You'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical building services.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceFault-find and repair mechanical and electrical building servicesMaintain HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and associated plantCarry out electrical maintenance including lighting, power and basic fault findingComplete routine plant room inspectionsRespond to breakdowns and ensure faults are resolved efficientlyComplete maintenance records and update CAFM systemsLiaise professionally with clients and contractorsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with site proceduresAbout You Qualified in either an electrical or mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)Strong M&E/building services maintenance backgroundExperience working within commercial propertiesGood knowledge of HVAC, mechanical plant and electrical systemsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsProfessional and client-facing approachFull UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer £44,000 salaryCompany van + fuel cardMonday to Friday working patternStable, long-term positionOngoing training and developmentCareer progression opportunities
