M&E Quantity Surveyor – EdinburghUp to 75,000 DOE + BenefitsPermanent | Full-TimeWe are working with a well-established and highly respected Building Services Contractor who are looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor to their team in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of work across Scotland and the UK.The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of Major Industrial Units (Big Sheds), Substations, Petrochemical Facilities, and CAT A Fit-Outs, working closely with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial and contractual aspects of M&E packages across multiple projectsPrepare and review bills of quantities, valuations, variations, and final accountsWork closely with project managers to ensure accurate forecasting, cost reporting, and commercial risk managementLiaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultant teams throughout project lifecycleEnsure cost controls are implemented effectively and commercial processes are followedSupport tendering, procurement, and bid pricing activity when requiredAbout YouExperience working as an M&E QS, ideally within a building services, construction, or specialist subcontractor settingStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical contracting commercial processesConfident communicator who is comfortable working with clients, site teams, and stakeholdersGood working knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT)Strong analytical skills and an organised, methodical approach to financial controls and reportingWhat's On OfferSalary up to 75,000 DOEClear pathways for professional development and progressionSupportive, collaborative, and stable working environmentExposure to major Scottish & UK-wide technical projectsOpportunity to work with a highly experienced senior teamInterested?
