Machine Learning Engineer A fantastic opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a world-leading AI technology company developing cutting-edge software solutions. This is a specialist Python-focused engineering role with a strong Machine Learning and Large Language Model (LLM) focus, ideal for a Python Engineer who has experience working with ML/LLM technologies.
You will work alongside Software Engineers, Machine Learning specialists and the wider technology team to deploy, integrate and optimise innovative machine learning models within highly advanced, real-world products. This is an opportunity to apply strong Python engineering skills to technically challenging AI and Machine Learning projects within a highly advanced research and development environment.
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office Salary: £55,000 to £80,000 per annum + excellent benefits Requirements for Machine Learning Engineer: Strong commercial experience in a Python Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering or closely related role Strong experience working with Python and the ability to write production-quality code Commercial or substantial project experience working with Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) this is an essential requirement for the role Experience deploying, integrating or working with ML/LLM models in practical applications Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, model deployment and inference technologies Experience using Python data and matrix manipulation libraries such as NumPy and pandas This company highly values a top academic history, so is looking for a 1st or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or another closely related subject with a minimum AAB at A Level, or international equivalent Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working autonomously and making technical decisions, while also collaborating closely with a highly technical team Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph wou...
