Maintenance Engineer Location: Tamworth Salary:up to £45k Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Shift Pattern: Double days, alternate weeks of 6am-1.30pm & 1.30pm-9pm 34 hour week About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established manufacturing business currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The Role Maintenance Engineer Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair, fault finding and continuous improvement activities across a wide range of production equipment.

Working closely with production teams, you will ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operating at optimum performance levels. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Engineer Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities.

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects. Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and root cause analysis. Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.

Requirements Maintenance Engineer Qualification in Engineering ideally electrical Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
