About the RoleYou'll become part of a supportive engineering team where training, development and career progression are genuinely encouraged. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment and supervisor and motivate the maintenance team to ensure efficient of site operations.
Leading and working as part of a team of engineers, responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance and service of equipment on site, as well as continuous improvement tasks. Mechanically – replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings and pulleys.
Working on Pumps, Valves, Screws, Gearboxes, Shafts, Belts, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systemsSwapping mechanical components like for like as well as strip and rebuild project,Basic electrical capabilities and being safety awareEnsuring compliance, issuing permits to work, ordering parts and dealing with subcontractorsWorking with latest technology working with a CMMS utilising the tablet-based PPM and reactive workThe CandidateTo be considered and sucessful for this role, you should have, but not limiting toTime-served or Apprenticiship or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience working within the Utilities, Recycling, Water Treatment industryElectrical awareness and Mechanical Fault-Finding skills, looking at Root Cause Analysis and Continous improvement.
