Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Leeds – LS9 Monday to Friday 7 – 4pm OR 8 – 5pm £43 – 48k (DOE) + benefits The company Our client is a well-established business, thriving within the steel and construction industry. Almost half a century old, they have continued to go from strength to strength growing their name and brand. On their large, modern and highly automated site they design and manufacture specialist structures, due to continued growth they now require a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their small but skilled team. The Role The successful Maintenance Engineer will work on a Day shift and be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across the site with a focus on preventative and long-term fixes over firefighting. Day to day responsibilities will involve; Electrical and mechanical fault finding Working with CMMS system Continuous improvement projects – condition-based monitoring Diagnosing faults on robots Assisting in the mentorship of onsite Apprentices The Candidate To be successful in your application for Maintenance Engineer, you will have; Previous experience of working within an automated environment Strong fault finding experience Desire and motivation to continue to learn and progress Experience working within a welding/steel environment would be ideal though not necessary Recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering The Benefits In return for joining this fantastic company, our client is offering a competitive package including; c£43 – 48k (Flexible for right candidate) days 7 – 4 OR 8 – 5pm 33 Days holiday including stats Paid overtime at x1.5 Company pension Fantastic opportunity to progress and train including ABB robot training, TIA Portal training and mechanical design courses If the position of Maintenance Engineer sounds of interest to you and you have the relevant background, please apply or send a copy of your CV to or call me on.
