As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical maintenance and repair support with a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery. This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of 35,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for: Delivering mechanical maintenance across CNC and precision engineering equipmentCarrying out repairs to mechanical components such as gearboxes, shafts, pumps, drive chains and bearingsDiagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently to minimise production downtimeUndertaking planned preventative maintenance activities and machinery refurbishmentsPerforming mechanical fault finding, including PLC interrogation where requiredEnsuring all work complies with current health, safety and legal standardsSupporting maintenance operations across multiple company sites in the Leicester areaWhat We Are Looking ForPreviously worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or in a similar roleHave proven experience of 3 years in an engineering or manufacturing environmentPossess hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinerySkilled in fault finding and repair of multi-axis CNC machinesWorking knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens control systemsA recognised qualification such as HNC or equivalent in Mechanical EngineeringUp-to-date understanding of current and emerging maintenance technologiesShift: Timings: 6am - 2pmHours: 37.5 hours per weekThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected engineering business and further your career within mechanical maintenanceImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
