Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role....We're looking for a qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business in the Kidderminster area. This is a great opportunity to step into a highly skilled team of maintenance engineers with a structured on-boarding program.

Location: KidderminsterSalary: 52,149 per annum + overtime (earnings up to 60,000+)Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)The Role: Carry out mechanical maintenance on heavy plant and production equipmentDeliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdownsDiagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsPerform bearing fitting and alignmentMaintain high safety and quality standards in a safety-critical environmentContribute to continuous improvement and downtime reductionWork collaboratively within a shift-based engineering teamAbout You: You'll be a mechanically biased engineer with: Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environmentsStrong fault-finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics & drive systemsExperience with bearing fitting & alignmentArc & MIG welding and basic fabrication skillsKnowledge of cutting and grinding safety regulationsYou will have current or recent experience mechanical fitting, fabrication, welding, and plant servicing, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical fitter, mechanical technician, mechanical maintenance fitting, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance technician, maintenance technician.
