We're recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading food manufacturer at their Haverhill site. You'll be joining an established engineering team within a stable, well-invested manufacturing environment. This is a varied Maintenance Engineer role covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdowns and planned maintenance across a busy production site.

What you'll be doing As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping production machinery running safely and reliably. You'll be: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment Responding to breakdowns and getting machinery back up and running Fault finding across production machinery, control systems and ancillary equipment Identifying ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and to site standards Working alongside the wider engineering and production teams What we're looking for We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer who has: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience Experience within manufacturing, production or a similar fast-paced environment Strong fault-finding and breakdown skills A good understanding of health and safety Experience with lean manufacturing or TPM would be beneficial Breathing Apparatus and Fire Fighting certification would be advantageous, but isn't essential What's on offer £52,000 salary 4 on 4 off DAYS 05:30–17:30 No night shifts 8% employer pension contribution Long-term stability Well-invested manufacturing site Progression opportunities within the engineering team Location: Haverhill, Suffolk Job: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £52,000 Shift: 4 on 4 off days – 05:30–17:30 If you're a Maintenance Engineer looking for a strong salary, days-only shifts and a long-term opportunity with an established manufacturer, apply today.
