Job Description Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Days Days only. 4 on, 4 off. No nights. A well-established food manufacturer in Malton is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a 4 on 4 off days-only shift pattern .It's a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who wants a strong work-life balance without compromising on the variety or technical challenge of a manufacturing engineering role.
The Role Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsComplete PPMs and preventative maintenance activitiesRespond to breakdowns and minimise production downtimeSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiativesWork closely with production and other engineers to keep the site running efficientlyMaintain high standards of health, safety and food manufacturing complianceWhat we're looking for You'll ideally hold an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification and have experience working within a manufacturing environment.
We're open to engineers with either an electrical or mechanical bias , provided you have a good understanding of both disciplines. Food/FMCG experience would be advantageous, but engineers from other manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
