K.A.G. Recruitment is proud to be supporting our client, a leader in the Food industry, in their search for a Maintenance Manager who wants to move beyond reactive fixes and build a maintenance function that's planned, reliable, and respected across the business.
Job Title: Maintenance Manager Location: Burton on Trent Reporting to : Head of Engineering Salary: £65,000 Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.30 - 16.30 - Flexibility required in line with business needs This is a key leadership role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where engineering performance directly impacts production.
You'll be trusted to lead the function, shape the strategy, and raise standards across the board. This isn't a firefighting role. It's a chance to take control of how a site runs.. What you'll be responsible for: Leading all maintenance activity across site, with a clear focus on reliability and uptime Building and delivering a strong PPM strategy that reduces unplanned downtime Managing and developing a team of Engineering Shift Managers and engineers Driving performance through KPIs like downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and PPM completion Implementing root cause analysis and fixing recurring issues properly Overseeing all maintenance delivery including fault finding, repairs, and upgrades Managing CMMS systems, maintenance records, and spare parts effectively Ensuring Health
