Job Description Your new company An established manufacturing business based in Taunton is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to support the business through a busy period and make an immediate impact.
Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include
Preparation of monthly management accounts Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Sales, margin and cost reporting Supporting month-end and year-end processes Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules VAT return preparation Supporting external audit requirements Assisting with wider finance projects and reporting requirements as needed What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a Management Accountant role Strong month-end reporting experience Experience with Sage software, ideally Sage 200 Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills Ability to work independently and hit the ground running CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience What you'll get in return Immediate start opportunity Competitive hourly rate Flexible interim assignment Supportive finance team Opportunity to work within a well-established manufacturing environment What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or contact Rhys William at Hays Finance & Accountancy for a confidential discussion.
