The opportunityWere looking for a Management Accountant to provide clear, commercially focused financial insight to our Supply Chain & Logistics teams. Youll bring the story behind the numbers to life, helping operational colleagues understand performance, control costs and identify opportunities to work more efficiently.

What youll be doingBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office functions, translating complex financial information into clear and actionable insightsPreparation of periodic management accounts with variance analysis for review by Senior Finance Manager and operational teamsPrepare and maintain accurate departmental balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust financial control and governancePartner with operational teams and 3PL providers to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savingsPreparation and consolidation of robust half-yearly forecasting and budgets to measure business performance for multiple 3PLs and head office departmentsPartner with multiple departments to calculate and process inter-department transfersSupport other members of the team and the business as required with ad hoc dutiesWhat youll bringQualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Industry experience within the Logistics sector is advantageous, but not essentialStrong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge performance and add valueSeeks to implement and improve processesStrong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information for non-finance audiencesAccountability for own actions and results with an inquisitive mindsetAdvanced Excel skills essential, with previous experience of analysing large volumes of dataWhat youll get from usBest Place to Work 2026Supportive and collaborative teamHealthcare and cash back plans15% discount in our stores and 30% discount in our group restaurantsPartner discountsSubsidised on site restaurant and Costa (Head Office)Mental, physical and financial wellbeing support
