Job Description The Opportunity A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its site-based finance team. Reporting into the senior finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting business performance through insightful analysis and collaboration with both finance and operational stakeholders.
The Role Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and financial performance reports Review financial data, identify variances, and provide meaningful analysis to support decision-making Maintain strong financial controls through regular review of key balance sheet accounts Deliver reporting and insights to support business performance and operational efficiency Monitor outstanding financial transactions and work with colleagues to resolve issues promptly Support cash flow, stock, and working capital reporting activities Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy The Person Experience within a finance or accounting role, ideally involving month-end reporting responsibilities Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities with a naturally inquisitive approach Able to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders Comfortable managing competing deadlines in a busy environment Proactive, adaptable, and keen to contribute to business improvement initiatives Studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional qualification would be advantageous The Benefits £32,000 - £37,000 salary Full study support package Subsidised meals and additional employee benefits Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunities for career progression and professional development Exposure to a commercially focused manufacturing business This role would suit an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a stable and growing organisation where they can make a genuine contribution to business performance.
